Aviation Fuel Supply Agreement

“To combat climate change and achieve net zero emissions, the aviation industry must act quickly. Shell Aviation aims to reduce the carbon intensity of the fuels we sell, including the sale of less carbon fuels such as sustainable aviation fuel over time. Today`s agreement with Neste will help Shell`s aviation customers reduce their emissions and show the progress we can make in collaboration with others,” said Anna Mascolo, President, Shell Aviation. “The aviation industry is essential to global activity, which generates growth and facilitates economic recovery. It also allows people to travel and transport goods around the world quickly. But if we want to tackle air transport emissions, we need to use all available solutions. Saf offers the only viable alternative to liquid fossil fuels for the supply of electricity to commercial aircraft, with the immediate potential to reduce aviation greenhouse gas emissions. We are committed to supporting the aviation industry, its customers and businesses in their emissions reduction goals,” said Thorsten Lange, Executive Vice President Renewable Aviation at Neste.
